Frequently Asked Questions
What does the session fee cover? - The session fee covers the photographer’s time, talent as well as the retouching of images. The session fee does not include any prints, products or high res digital files. A 50% deposit of the session fee needs to be paid on the date of booking and the remaining balance to be made at the photo session.
What is the cancellation policy? - Cancellations need to be made at least 48hrs prior to the session date in order to receive a refund.
How long will my session last? - This will depend on the package that was chosen however sessions can range from 40mins to an 1 1/2hrs.
What should I wear? - A great rule of thumb is, if one person is wearing a pattern then everyone else taking part in the session can pick a colour from that pattern. If you are looking for a more simplisitc look then go for a black or white shirt and jeans. I love shooting colour so be adventurous, just be comfortable. For kids you are welcome to bring along things that show off their personality and help them to be comfortable, for example their favourite toy.
How long would it take before the final images can be seen? - Three weeks after the session each client will receive their own password protected link. Your images will be displayed in your own personalized online gallery for 7 days after which it will expire. This is your time to order and share the link with family and friends to order as well. After the 7 days expires there will be a $40 charge to display your gallery again for an additional 5 days.
Who owns the copyrights of the images? - All images remain the copyright of Simone Leitch and Simone Leitch Photography unless a copyright release has been issued. Session images are subject to advertising on Simone Leitch Photography webpage, blog, facebook, marketing forms, business cards, competitions or public displays unless written request has been submitted to Simone Leitch Photography.
